First Aid and InjuriesFirst Aid
Jikiden Reiki teaches the incredible first aid techniques passed on from the founder, Usui, to Hayashi and then Chiyoko Yamaguchi and her family. Chiyoko Yamaguchi used Reiki as first aid in her daily life and was frequently called to help with burns victims, as there were many childhood accidents of that kind in those days. The burns she treated with Reiki left no scars when treated immediately, even when they were serious!
Cuts, scrapes, bruises and sprains also heal incredibly quickly - it really has to be seen to be believed.
I was truly amazed at the results the first time I used the techniques and I now use them on a regular basis and no longer need to have a first aid kit in my home. I really recommend learning - even just for this.
Injuries also heal much faster and with less pain if Reiki is used. It is important to use Reiki as soon as possible after the injury happens to achieve the best results. However, older injuries can also be helped with Reiki - as with all things, the longer they have been around the longer it will take to see the wonderful effects of Reiki. With long term problems you need to be patient and just keep going with the treatments...most people soon find that they have forgotten just how painful it used to be and that they are healing much faster.
My 7 tips for treating injuries with Reiki can be found on the blog page.
It is a little known fact that the Japanese Navy used Reiki as a form of treatment before and during WW2, as it was extremely effective and no supplies were needed (just hands!). There were a few 'Reiki stations' in Japanese ports too!
